Apple has just released an update to iPhoto, version 7.1.5 which according to the Apple website, “…improves the printing quality of books, cards and calendars ordered via the iPhoto printing service.” A similar update for Aperture was released about a week prior to the iPhoto 7.1.5 update.

I’m a big fan of Google Picasa when it comes to photo organizing so I’m a bit worried about how will I manage to deal with Picasa not supporting mac.
What do you think? Is iPhoto ok? I always preferred organizing my photos into folder more.

I’m the same way. I organize all of my photos into folders by date/date range. I love how Picasa allows you to keep your own structure.
So far, I’m not a very big fan of iPhoto. They try to simplify it TOO MUCH. Which is a good thing for the not so savvy computer user, but for the more advanced users like you and I, programs like iPhoto are over simplified in my opinion.
I really hope Picasa for Mac is released soon! Otherwise, I’ll have to continue to use my PC to manage all of my photos.
